Grand Bazaar

In 2014, it is listed No.1 among world's most-visited tourist attractions with 91,250,000 annual visitors. It is situated in the old city, and very easy to reach from Minyon Istanbul. The Old City

The Old City of Istanbul is the oldest part of Istanbul, filled with most of its historical sights.  Bounded by bodies of water to the north, east and south (the Golden Horn, Bosphorus and the Sea of Marmara, respectively) and by the old city walls to west, this historical peninsula used to be known as Constantinople during the Byzantine era.

Many of Istanbul’s historical gems, mostly consisting of Byzantine and Ottoman-built monuments are in Old City. Most are located a short walk away from, if not immediately on the edges of, Sultanahmet Square. Some other sights are dispersed throughout the peninsula. Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque are some of the must see places.

This area is easily accessible from Minyon İstanbul by tram. Just walk down to Kabatas tram station, take the tram and get off at Sirkeci or Sultanahmet stops, which only takes 8-9 minutes.

Beautiful Bosphorus

The Bosphorus, world's narrowest and probably one of the busiest straits, used for international maritime business, connects the Black Sea to the Sea of Marmara (which is connected by the Dardanelles to the Aegean Sea, and thereby to the Mediterranean Sea).

The Bosphorus divides Istanbul into two continents - Europe and Asia - that are pretty much alike and very lively. The tranquility of the Bosphorus between the two continents is truly a pleasure for the eye and the heart.

Treat yourself to a cruise and enjoy the wonderful views of the palaces lining the Bosporus.

Turkish Bath - Hammam

A Turkish bath or hammam is the Turkish variant of the Roman bath, steambath, sauna, or Russian banya, distinguished by a focus on water, as distinct from ambient steam.

In Western Europe, the "Turkish bath" as a method of cleansing and relaxation became popular during the Victorian era. The process involved in taking a Turkish bath is similar to that of a sauna, but is more closely related to ancient Greek and ancient Roman bathing practices.

The Turkish bath starts with relaxation in a room (known as the warm room) that is heated by a continuous flow of hot, dry air, allowing the bather to perspire freely. Bathers may then move to an even hotter room (known as the hot room) before they wash in cold water. After performing a full body wash and receiving a massage, bathers finally retire to the cooling-room for a period of relaxation.
